Large Whalebone Patu

This long whalebone patu is probably 19^th century and no iwi asscociation is known. The piece has a wood-like colouring but is slightly shiny and reflective. This was the most successfully scanned educational collection piece because most of the sides were able to be captured. However, the thin sides meant that the artefact sides were difficult to align during post processing.
